The Park & Recreation Commission of the City of Irwindale met in
regular adjourned session at the above time and place.
ROLL CALL PRESENT: Commissioners: T. Chico,
C. Orosco, J. Fraijo, O. Grijalva and
Chairman D. Diaz.
ALSO PRESENT: Recreation Director
Dennis DeGruccio and Deputy City Clerk
Arline Miranda.
PRESENTATION TO City Manager David Caretto
COMMISSIONER DIAZ administered the Oath of Office to
Chairman Dan Diaz and presented
Chairman Diaz with a Certificate of
Appointment for his reappointment to the
Parks & Recreation Commission.
APPROVAL OF Upon motion, minutes of December 8,
MINUTES 1993, were approved as presented.
MOTION: Commissioner Fraijo
SECOND: Commissioner Grijalva
ABSTAIN: Commissioner Orosco
COMMISSIONERS Commissioner Fraijo asked that the item
REQUEST of roping off areas in the park and the
playing of loud music be put on the next
agenda. Chairman Diaz requested the
agenda include for discussion, the
relocation of bases and home plate due
to the slow pitch games. Commissioner
Chico asked that the matter of a "sign in
sheet" for the current dance class be
placed on the next agenda.
