The Irwindale Parks & Recreation Commission met in regular adjourned session at the above time
and place.
ROLL CALL Present: Commissioners: Theresa Chico, Paula Fraijo, Olivia
Grijalva, Belen Zepeda and Chairman Diaz. Also present:
Recreation Director Frank Barbosa.

WORKSHOP TO DISCUSS Upon recommendation of former City Manager Todd Argow,
RECREATION DEPARTMENT the commission has scheduled a workshop to be held on
GOALS & OBJECTIVES Wednesday, January 22, 1997 at 5:00 p.m. in the conference
room at City Hall. The purpose of the workshop is to discuss
the goals and objectives of the Recreation Department.
COMMISSIONER ITEMS
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM Commissioner P. Fraijo stated that she missed the performance
by the choral band at this year's Christmas celebration.
GYM LIGHTS Commissioner T. Chico asked staff to check the setting on the
automatic timers so that the timers do not stay on after the
gym has closed.
SPONTANEOUS COMMUNICATIONS
BALLFIELD FENCE David Chico, 16039 Pepper Tree Lane, stated that the ball
diamond fence needed to be stretched.
