The Irwindale HOUSING AUTHORITY met in special session at the above time and place. ROLL CALL Present: Commissioners Julian A. Miranda, Jacquelyn Breceda, Patricio Miranda, Vice Chair Joseph Tapia, Chair Raymond Chavez Also Present: Todd Argow, Interim Executive Director; David Aleshire, Authority Attorney; Carlos Alvarado, Authority Engineer; Julian S. Miranda, Police Chief; Abraham DeDios, Finance Director; and Camille Diaz, Assistant Secretary CONSENT CALENDAR Commissioner P. Miranda made a motion, seconded by Chair Chavez, to approve the Consent Calendar, with a minor modification to Item No. 1 C relating to the Authority's investment policy. The motion was unanimously approved, with Commissioner P. Miranda abstaining from warrant number 1904. ITEM NO. lA WARRANT AND DEMAND REGISTERS WARRANTS &DEMANDS The Warrant and Demand Register was approved. ITEM NO. 1B APPROVAL OF MINUTES MINUTES The minutes of the Housing Authority meeting of November 14, 1996, were approved as presented. ITEM NO. 1C AUTHORITY INVESTMENT POLICY AUTHORITY INVESTMENT POLICY RESOLUTION NO. Resolution No. 96-013, entitled: HA-96-013 ADOPTED "A RESOLUTION OF THE IRWINDALE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE CITY OF IRWINDALE INVESTMENT POLICY," was adopted. I �1 � I_�Z�]�K�1�I.Y�� �Il <N �11 �i� I �7_� 7 CLOSED SESSION AUTHORITY ATTORNEY Authority Attorney Aleshire requested the ALESHIRE addition of one item involving real property negotiations with American General. He advised that the need to take action arose HOUSING AUTHORITY MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING DECEMBER 11, 1996 PAGE 2 subsequent to the posting of the agenda because of a meeting staff had earlier in the week at which they became aware that American General has some deadlines pending and they need to obtain some indication of the City's intent relatively quickly. MOTION Commissioner P. Miranda made a motion, seconded by Commissioner J. Miranda, to add one item involving real property negotiations with American General to the Closed Session. The motion was unanimously approved. At 7:44 p.m., the City Council, Redevelopment Agency, and Housing Authority adjourned to Closed Session to discuss the following: Conference with Real Property otg iator (Pursuant to California Government Code Section 54956.8). Property: Manning II Housing Project Negotiating Parties: Irwindale Housing Authority and Prospective Buyers Under Negotiation: Price and terms of sale REPORT FROM Authority reconvened at 9:30 p.m. with all CLOSED SESSION members present. Agency Attorney Aleshire reported that no reportable action was taken.
