COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
ORDINANCE NO. 1
AN ORDINANCE SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. There shall be one regular meeting of
the City Council during each calendar month and such meeting
shall be held on the first Monday thereof at the hour of
7:30 o'clock P.M., provided, however, that if the date of
any such regular meeting falls on a holiday said regular
meeting shall be held at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. on the
next succeeding day which is not a holiday.
SECTION II. The meeting place of the City Council
shall be at 5140 North Irwindale Avenue, Irwindale, California.
SECTION III. This Ordinance shall take immediate
effect after the date of its adoption and the same shall be
posted in three public places within the city limits of the
City of Irwindale, as prescribed by Resolution No. 57-1.
PASSED and APPROVED this 6th day of August, 1957.

adopted at a regular meeting of said Council held on the
6th day of August, 1957, by the following vote:

CITY OF IRWINDALE
MIKE MARTINEZ, being first duly sworn, deposes and
says;
That he is the City Clerk of the City of Irwindale,
California, and is and was at all times herein mentioned a
citizen of the United States over the age of eighteen (18)
years and competent to be a witness herein.
On August 7th, 1957, he securely and conspicuously
posted at each of the public places in said City, to wit:
(1) 5140 North Irwindale Avenue
(2) Post Office on Irwindale Avenue
(3) Southwest corner of Arrow Highway and
Irwindale Avenue
a copy of Ordinance No. 1 of the City of Irwindale, being
in all respects the same as that attached hereto and made
a part hereof.
