CITY OF IRWINDALE
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
ORDINANCE NO. 13
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USE OF LAND WITHIN THE CITY
OF IRWINDALE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Reference is hereby made to Ordi-
nance No. 1494, as amended, of the County of Los Angeles,
being the Zoning Ordinance of the County of Los Angeles.
SECTION II. Said County Ordinance No. 1494, as
amended, being the Zoning Ordinance of the County of
Los Angeles, is hereby adopted and approved as Ordinance
No. 13 of the City of Irwindale.
SECTION III. Wherever the words "Regional Planning
Commission," "Zoning Board", or "Board of Supervisors"
appear in said County Ordinance No. 1494, as amended,
the words "City Council of the City of Irwindale" shall
be substituted therefor.
SECTION IV. The City of Irwindale was incorp-
orated on August 6, 1957, and the City Council thereof
has not yet adopted any legislation with respect to the
foregoing matters, which affect the peace, health, and
safety of the residents of the City of Irwindale. This
Ordinance is, therefore, required for the immediate pre-
servation of the public peace, health, and safety, and
the same shall take effect immediately upon the passage
thereof.
SECTION V. This Ordinance shall take immediate
effect after the date of its adoption and the same shall
be posted in three public places within the city limits
of the City of Irwindale, as prescribed by Resolution
No. 57-1.
PASSED and APPROVED this 6th day of August 1957.

correct copy of Ordinance No. 13 of said City which was
adopted at a regular meeting of said Council held on the
6th day of August, 1957, by the following vote:

I further certify that said Ordinance was there-
upon signed by the Mayor of the City of Irwindale.

MIKE MARTINEZ, being first duly sworn, deposes
That he is the City Clerk of the City of Irwindale,
California, and is and was at all times herein mentioned
a citizen of the United States over the age of eighteen
(18) years and competent to be a witness herein.
On August 7, 1957, he securely and conspicuously
posted at each of the public places in said City, to wit:
(1) 5140 North Irwindale Avenue
(2) Post Office on Irwindale Avenue
(3) Southwest corner of Arrow Highway and
Irwindale Avenue

in all respects the same as that attached hereto and made
