CITY OF IRWINDALE
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
ORDINANCE NO. 25
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A TAX PROCEDURE LAW.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. From and after the effective date
of this ordinance the duty of assessing property and of
collecting taxes, provided by law to be performed by the
Assessor and Tax Collector of the City, shall be per-
formed by the County Tax Assessor and the County Tax
Collector of the County of Los.Angeles, State of Calif-
ornia, in accordance with the provisions of Section
51500 to 51519, inclusive, of the Government Code.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect
upon the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date
of its adoption, and the City Clerk of the City of
Irwindale shall cause this ordinance to be posted within
fifteen (15) days after its passage, in three public
places within the city limits of the City of Irwindale,
as prescribed by Resolution No. 57-1.
ADOPTED this 16th day of September 1957.

was introduced at a regular meeting of said City Council
held on September 3, 1957, and finally passed not less
than five (5) days thereafter on the 16th day of Sept-
ember, 1957, by the following vote:

Noes NONE Absent NONE
I further certify that said ordinance was there-
upon signed by the Mayor of the City of Irwindale.

MIKE MARTINEZ, being first duly sworn, deposes
That he is the City Clerk of the City of Irwin-
dale, California, and is and was at all times herein
mentioned a citizen of the United States over the age of
eighteen (18) years and competent to be a witness herein.
On September 17, 1957, he securely and conspic-
uously posted at each of the public places in said City,
to wit:
(1) 5140 North Irwindale Avenue
(2) Post Office on Irwindale Avenue
(3) Southwest corner of Arrow Highway and
Irwindale Avenue
a copy of Ordinance No. 25 of the City of Irwindale, being
in all respects the same as that attached hereto and made
a part hereof.
