ORDLNANCE N0. 49
,�N ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 42 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE
.- LICENSING THE TRANSACTION AND CARRYING ON OF CERTAIN BUSINESSES,
TRADES, PROFESSIONS, CALLINGS AND OCCUPATIONS IN THE CITY OF
IRWINDALE FOR THE PURPOSE OF RAISING MUNICIPAL REVENUE."
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Amendment. Section 502.24 of Article 5 of
Ordinance No. 42 of_ERe City of Irwindale is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"502.24. Rubbish, waste or garbage collection and
transportation, not otherwise governed by a franchise
or contract granted by the City $50.00-A"
SECTION 2. Operative Date. This Ordinance shall be opera-
tive as of the effective date -6f said Ordinance No. 42, and any
sums paid by any licensee in excess of the sums due, as computed
in accordance with this amending ordinance, shall be refunded to
such licensee.
SECTION 3. Effective Date. This Ordinance, inasmuch as it
amends an ordinance`wF c provides for a tax levy for the usual
and current expenses of this City and thereby affects the revenues
,�f this City, shall take effect immediately.
SECTION 4. Publication. The Mayor shall sign this Ordi-
nance and the City er a all attest to same, and the same shall
be posted immediately thereafter in three (3) public places with-
in the city limits of the City of Irwindale, as prescribed by
Resolution No. 57-1.

introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meet-
ing of the City Council on the day of March, 1958. That

and.passed at a regular meeting of the City Council on the rl
day of March, 1958, by the following vote, to wit:

(2) Post Office on Irwindale Avenue
(3) Southwest corner of Arrow Highway and
Irwindale Avenue
a copy of Ordinance No. 49 of the City of Irwindale, being
in all respects the same as that attached hereto and made
a part hereof.
