AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE
DECLARING A PORTION OF LIVE OAR AVENUE
TO BE A PORTION OF THE COUNTY SYSTEM
OF HIGHWAYS
The City Council of the City of Irwindale does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Los
Angeles, State of California, have declared a portion of Live Oak
Avenue, in the ZitW of Irwindale, to be a part of the County System
y� of Highways, to enable the County of Los Angeles to construct
equestrian tunnel, detour road, curbs, gutters, pavement and
appurtenant work on said street.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 1700 to
1704, inclusive, of the :Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, the City Council of the City of Irwindale does hereby
consent that Live Oak Avenue, between Rivergrade Road and
approximately nine hundred (900) feet westerly, be andt hereby
is included as a portion of the County System of Highways.
SECTION 3. Publication. The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance
and the City Clerk shall attest to same, and the same shall be posted
immediately thereafter in three (3) public places within the City Limits
of the City of Irwindale, as prescribed by Resolution No. 57-1.

hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 87 was regularly introduced
and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council
on the 21st day of June, 1960. That, thereafter, said Ordinance was duly
adopted and passed at a regular adjourned meeting of the City Council

JAMES M. McLEAN, being first duly sworn, deposes and says:
That he is the City Clerk of the City of Irwindale, California,
and that he is and was at all times herein mentioned a citizen
of the United States over the age of eighteen (18) years and.
competent to be a witness herein.
On August 12, 1960, he securely and conspicuously posted
at each of the public places in said City, to -wit:
(1)5140 North Irwindale Avenue;
(2) Post Office on Irwindale Avenue;
(3) Southwest corner of Arrow Highway and Irwindale Avenue,
a copy of Ordinance No. 87 of the City of Irwindale, being in all
respects the same as that attached hereto and made a part hereof.
