AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE ADDING
CHAPTER 4 TO ARTICLE V OF THE IRWINDALE MUNICIPAL
CODE CONSISTING OF SECTION 5400 RELATING TO THE
PUBLIC HEALTH CODE
The City Council of the City of Irwindale does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 4 of Article V consisting of Section 5400
is hereby added to the Irwindale Municipal Code to read as follows:
ARTICLE V - SANITATION AND HEALTH
CHAPTER 4 - HEALTH CODE
5400. Public Health Code. The City Council does hereby
adopt as the Public Health Code of and for said City that certain
Code marked and designated as the "Public Health Code (Ordinance
No. 7583)°' as adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Los Angeles, State of California, on August 25, 1959, three (3)
copies of which Code are on file in the office of the City Clerk
for public inspection,. and the same is hereby made a part hereof
as if fully set out in this Chapter.
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 11 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. Publication. The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance
and the Clerk shall attest to same, and the same shall be posted
immediately thereafter in three (3) public places within the City
Limits of the City of Irwindale, as prescribed by Resolution No.
57-1.

hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 88 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular adjourned
meeting of the City Council on the 5 day of August, 1960, by the

JAMES M. McLEAN, being first duly sworn, deposes and says:
That he is the City Clerk of the City of Irwindale, California,
and is and was at all times herein mentioned a citizen of the
United. States over the age of eighteen (18) years and competent
to be a witness herein.
On August 12th, 1960, he securely and conspicuously posted 1W%
at each of the public places in said. City, to -wit:
(1) 5140 North Irwindale Avenue;
(2) Post Office on Irwindale Avenue;
(3) Southwest corner of Arrow Highway and Irwindale Avenue,
a copy of Ordinance No. 88 of the City of Irwindale, being in
all respects the same as that attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
