AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE
CODIFYING ORDINANCE NO. 12, 20, 32, 33,
42, 43, 46, 47, 52, 54, 55, 56, REPEALING
SAID ORDINANCES, AND REPEALING ORDINANCES
N0. 9, 10, 11, 13, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28,
30, 31, 35, 41, 582 59, 60, AND 61
The City Council of the City of Irwindale does
ordain as follow;
SECTION 1. The Irwindale Municipal Code is
hereby amended by the addition to said Code of the
following Articles, Chapter, Parts and Sections, all as
set forth in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and
by reference and a part hereof as though set forth in
full herein;
(a) Section 1202 to 1209 inclusive, relating to
Penalty Provisions.
(b) Part 3 to Chapter 4 of Article II, consisting
of Section 2430 to 2444 inclusive, relating to Civil Defense
and Disaster Council.
(c) Part 4 to Chapter 4 of Article II, consisting
of Section 2445 to 2446 inclusive, relating to City Library.
(d) Chapter 7 to Article II, consisting of
Section 2700 to 2710 inclusive, relating to Purchase of
Supplies and Equiiment.
(e) Part 2 to Chapter 3 of Article III, consisting
of Section 3250 to 3274 inclusive, relating to Explosives.
(f) Chapter 2 to Article IV, consisting of
Section 4200 to 4202 inclusive, relating to Conduct in
Public Parks.
(g) Chapter 3 to Article IV, consisting of
Section 4300, relating to Animals.
(h) Part 1, 2, 3, and 4 to Chapter 2 of Article
VI, consisting of Section 6200 to 6241 inclusive, 6250
to 6252.37 inclusive, 6270 to 6279 inclusive, and 6290
to 6299 inclusive, relating to Business Licenses.
(i) Part 2 to Chapter 3 of Article VI, con-
sisting of Section 6310 to 6319 inclusive, relating to
Taxicabs.
(j) Chapters 1 and 2 to Article VII, consisting
of Sections 7100 to 7127 inclusive, and 7200 to 7229
inclusive, relating to Public Works and Property.
(k) Chapter 2 to Article VIII, consisting of
Section 8200 to 8223 inclusive, relating to Moving of
Buildings.

SECTION 2. The following ordinances, adopted
and approved the date set forth after the number thereof,
are hereby repealed:

SECTION 3. Neither the codification of any ordinance
nor the repeal of any ordinance of this City shall in any
manner affect the prosecution for violations of ordinances,
which violations were committed prior to the effective
date hereof, nor be construed as a waiver of any license
or penalty at said effective date due and unpaid under such
ordinances, nor be construed as affecting any of the provisions
of such ordinances relating to the collection of any such
license or penalty or the penal provisions applicable to
any violation thereof, nor to affect the validity of any bond
or cash deposit in lieu thereof, required to be posted,
filed or deposited pursuant to any ordinance, and all rights
and obligations thereunder appertaining shall continue in
full force and effect.
The provisions of this ordinance, insofar as they
are substantially the same as ordinance provisions
previously adopted by the City relating to the same subject
matter, shall be construed as restatements and continuations,
and not as new enactments.
SECTION 4. Publication. The Mayor shall sign
thi§ Ordinance and the City Clerk shall attest to same,
and the same shall be posted immediately thereafter in three
(3) public places within the City Limits of the City of
Irwindale, as prescribed by Resolution No. 60-8.

I, JAMES M. McLEAN, City Clerk of the City of
Irwindale, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance
No. 91 was regularly introduced and placed upon its first
reading at an adjorned regular meeting of the City Council
on the 28th day of October, 1960. That, thereafter, said
Ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 15th day of November, 1960, by
the following vote, to -wit:

JAMES M. McLEAN, being first duly sworn, deposes
and says:
That he is the City Clerk of the City of Irwindale,
California, and is and was at all times herein mentioned
a citizen of the United States over the age of eighteen
(18) years and competent to be a witness herein.
On November 16,1960, he securely and conspicuously posted
at each of the public places in said city, to -wit:
(1) 5140 North Irwindale Avenue
(2) Post Office on Irwindale Avenue
(3) Door of storage room located in Irwindale Park
a copy of Ordinance No. 91 of the City of Irwindale, being
in all respects the same as that attached hereto and made
a part hereof.
