AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF IRWINDALE GRANTING CONSENT TO
LOS ANGELES COUNTY'S DECLARATION THAT A
PORTION OF SAN BERNARDINO RGALD IS A PART
OF THE COUNTY SYSTEM OF HIGHWAYS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'T'Y OF IRWINDALE DOES
ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find and determine
that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles on November
7, 1961, adopted a resolution declaring a portion of San Bernardino Road
in the City of Irwindale to be a part of the County System of Highways as
provided in Sections 1700 to 1704 of the Streets and Highways Code in the
State of California.
SECTION 2. The following described portion of San Bernardino
Road.is hereby declared a part of the system of Highways in Los Angeles
County, State of California.
NAME OF STREET LIMITS
San Bernardino Road Between approximately 425 feet westerly of
Rivergrade Road and approximately 125 feet
easterly of Rivergrade Road.
SECTION 3. The City Council finds and determines that the
declaration of said portion of san Bernardino Road, as a county highway,
is in the public interest and welfare, for the reasons that are enuumerated
in the resolution of the Board of Supervisors of the Los Angeles County.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this ordinance, and to its approval by the Mayor and shall
cause, the same to be posted according to law in said City.
Passed, approved and adopted this 5th day of February, 1962.

I, Lee B. Young, City Clerk of the City of Irwindale, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Ordinance , being Ordinance No. 107 was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Irwindale, held on the 15th day of January, 1962, and was duly passed,
approved and signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk at a
regular meeting of said City Council held on the 5th day of February,
1962, by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Silva, Miranda, Diaz, Martinez & Breceda.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.

Lee B. Young, being first duly sworn, deposes and says:
That she is the City Clerk of the City of Irwindale, California,
and is and was at all times herein mentioned a citizen of the United
States over the age of eighteen (18) years and competent to be a witness
herein.
On February 7th, I securely and conspicuously posted at each
of the public places in said City, to -wit;
(1) 5140 North Irwindale Avenue
(2)Post Office on Irwindale Avenue
(3) At or near the door of the Council Chambers, 5050 No.
Irwindale Avenue;
a copy of Ordinance No. 107 of the City of Irwindale, being in all
respects the same as that attached hereto and made a part hereof.
