ORDINANCE NO. 128
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF IRWINDALE TO PROVIDE FOR
THE LICENSE FEES FOR SIGNS AND BILL-
BOARDS AND AMENDING SECTION 6252.1 OF
THE IRWINDALE MUNICIPAL CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 6252.1 of the Irwindale Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"6252.1 Advertising by Billboards.
Advertising by billboards includes every person
erecting, installing, maintaining billboards or
operating any other advertising sign, sign device,
design, or statuary erected to attract the attention
of the public and bisible from any street or other
public place. Provided, however, that advertising
by billboards shall not include signs affixed to the
building or on the land on which a licensed business
is being operated or directional signs, which sign
or signs refer only to such licensed business, or
to "for sale" or "for rent" signs on real estate.

SECTION 2. The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and the City
Clerk shall attest to same, and the same shall be posted immediately
thereafter in three (3) public places within the City Limits of the City
of Irwindale, as prescribed by Resolution.

certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 128 was regularly introduced and
placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council on
the 15th day of April, 1963. That, thereafter, said Ordinance was duly
adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 6th day
of May, 1963, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Breceda, Miranda, Martinez Sulzer & Daiz.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.

That she is the City Clerk of the City of Irwindale, California,
and is and was at all times herein mentioned a citizen of the United
States over the age of eighteen (18) years and competent to be a witness
herein.

each of the public places in said city, to -wit;
(1) 16034 Calle de Norm;
(2) Post Office on Irwindale Avenue; and
(3) At or near the door of the Council Chambers,
5950 No. Irwindale Avenue.
