AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF IRWINDALE ADOPTING A COMPREHENSIVE ZONING
ORDINANCE AND ZONING MAP AND REPEALING CHAPTER
1 OF ARTICLE IX OF THE IRWINDALE MUNICIPAL
CODE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find and deter-
mine that the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map set forth in Section
3 hereof has been recommended by the Planning Commission, that
appropriate hearings before the Planning Commission and the City
Council have been held as provided in the State Law, that in all
other respects the State Law has been complied with, and that the
public necessity and general welfare of the City of Irwindale re-
quire that said Zoning Ordinance and Map be adopted.
SECTION 2. Chapter 1 of Article 1X of the Irwindale
Municipal Code is hereby repealed, and the Zoning Ordinance and
Map as set forth in Section 3 hereof replaces said Chapter.
SECTION 3. The "IRWINDALE ZONING ORDINANCE" attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein as though set forth
in full at this point, including the "ZONING MAP" as incorporated
therein in Section 9021.01 thereof, be and the same are hereby
adopted as a part of the Irwindale Municipal Code as Chapter 1
of Article IX as Sections 9010.01 et sequitur.
SECTION 4, The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and the
City Clerk shall attest to same, and the same shall be posted im-
mediateLy thereafter in three (3) public places within the City
Limits -of the City of Irwindale, as prescribed by Resolution No.
60-8.

I, LEE B. YOUNG, City Clerk of the City of Irwindale,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 131 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a Special meeting
of the City Council on the 7th day of June, 1963. That, thereafter,
said Ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 17th day of June, 1963, by the follow-
ing vote; to -wit:

Diaz.
NOES: COUNCILMEN
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN
Miranda, Martinez, Sulzer and Mayor
Breceda.
None.

That she is the duly appointed and acting City Clerk
of the City of Irwindale, California, and is and was at all times
herein mentioned a citizen of the United States over the age of
eighteen (18) years and competent to be a witness herein.
On Juni 18, 1963, she securely and conspicuously posted
at each of the public places in said City, to -wit;
(1) 16034 Calle de Norte;
(2) Post Office on Irwindale Avenue; and
(3) At or near the door of the Council Chambers,
5050 North Irwindale Avenue.
a copy of Ordinance No. 131 of the City of Irwindale, being in
all respects the same as that attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
