AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF IRWINDALE REPEALING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF
THE IAS ANGELES COUNTY BUILDING AND -SAFETY
CODE*
THE CITE`COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION I: The City Council of the City of Irwindale
hereby finds and determinestthat'certain Sections of the -las
Angeles County Building and Safety Code as incorporated into the
Irwindale Municipal'Cbde are covarad by -an Ordinance under
consideration "Air Ordinance of the City Ceuncil oTr the City of
Irwindale regulating the Use of Signs and Billboards".
SECTION 2: The following Sections of the Los Angeles
County Building and Safety Code in Chapter 6200 are hereby,
repealed and rescinded and shall be of no force and effect in the
City of Irwindale:
Section 6201, 6202, 6202B, 6202G, 62068,
6206C9 '62I9' Table 23 C,6202D and 62073.
SECTION g. The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance amd the
City Clerk shall attest to same, and the same shall be posted
immediately, thereafter in three (3) publ i:`'plaees 4ithin the City
Limits of the City of Irwindale, as prescribed by Resolution No.
60-8. %

hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 133 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting
of the CLpy Council on the 17th day of June, 1963, That, thereafter
said Ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting
of the.City Council on the lot day of July, 1963, by the following
vote; to -wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Brocade, Miranda, Martinez, Sulzer
and Mayor Diaz.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COU'BCILMEN: None

That she is the duly appointed and City Clerk of the
City of Irwindale, California, and is and was at all times herein
mentioned a citiczen of the United $tates,over the-ap of eighteen
(18) years and competent to be witness herein.
On JuIX.2, 1963, shesecurelyand conspicuously posted
at each of the public places in said City, to -wit:
(1) 16034 Calle de Norte;
(2) Post Office on Irwindale Z*enue, and
(3) At or near the door of the Council Chambers,
5050 North Irwindale Avenue.
a copy of Ordinance No. 133 of the City of Irwindale, being in
all respects the same as that attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
