ORDINANCE NO. 164
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF IRWINDALE ADDING SECTION 2104
TO THE IRWINDALE MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING
TO THE CITY COUNCIL.
niE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 2104 is hereby added to
the Irwindale Municipal Code, to read as follows:
"2104. COUNCIL REORGANIZATION. The City
Council shall reorganize, by selecting, mav of
its members as Mayor, and another of its members
as Mayor -Pro Tem, on the following occasions:
(a) In even numbered years, when designated
by applicable provisions of the Government
Code; and
(b) In odd numbered years at the first
regular meeting held in the month of April;
and
(c) At such other times as a majority of
the City Council shall so determine and order."
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify the
adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be posted
in the manner prescribed by law.

meeting of the City Council on the 18th day of May, 1965,

AYES: COUNCIL14EN: Breceda, Sulzer and Mayor Diaz.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Miranda and Martinez.

and says: MARGARET S. BARBOSA, being first duly sworn, deposes
That she is the duly appointed and City Clerk of
the City of Irwindale, California, and is and was at all times
herein mentioned a citizen of the United States over the age
of eighteen (18) years and competent to be witness herein.
On May 24, 1965, she securely and conspicuously
posted at each of the public places in said City, to wit:
1. 16034 Calle del Norte;
2. Post Office on Irwindale Avenue; and
3. At or near the door of the Council Chambers,
5050 North Irwindale Avenue.
a copy of Ordinance No. 164 of the City of Irwindale, being
in all respects the same at that attached hereto and made a
part hereof.
