ORDINANCE NO. 169
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF IRWINDALE REZONING CERTAIN HEREIN
DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY (CASE NO. 65-1-ZC;
CITY INITIATED) .
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Irwindale does hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
(a) That the Planning Commission of the City of
Irwindale has heretofore initiated a zone change
proceeding for certain property located in the City
of Irwindale, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as is more particularly described in
Planning Commission Resolution No. 34 (65); and
(b) That said Commission conducted a duly
noticed public hearing upon said matter, and has
recommended, by its said Resolution No. 34 (65), that
the property, hereinafter described, be rezoned from
Zone M-1 to Zone C-2 and R-1 (5000); and
(c) That the City Council conducted a duly
noticed public hearing and, based upon the evidence
adduced, the staff reports, the Planning Commission's
files and recommendations, and each member of the
Council being familiar with the site, determined that
the public interest, convenience and necessity
requires that the zone classification of the
properties hereinafter described, be changed from
Zone M-1 to Zone C-2 and R-1 (5000).
SECTION 2. That notwithstanding Section 9310 of the
Irwindale Municipal Code, the following described properties
be, and the same hereby are, rezoned:
(a) From Zone M-1 to Zone C-2:
That portion of Lots 10 and 11 of the Map of
Possessory and Agreement Lines recorded in Book
4, Pages 58 to 61, inclusive, of Official Maps
of the County Recorder of the County of Los
Angeles, fronting on Arrow Highway for a
distance of 671.49 feet with a uniform depth of
290 feet. I
(b) From Zone M-1 to Zone R-1 (5000):
That portion of Lots 10 and 11 of the Map of
Possessory and Agreement Lines recorded in Book
4, Pages 58 to 61, inclusive, of Official Maps
of the County Recorder of the County of Los
Angeles, fronting on Calle del Norte for a
distance of 671.49 feet with a uniform depth of
140 feet.

SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance, and cause the same to be published
in the manner prescribed by law.

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
IN ABSTENTION: COUNCILMEN: Breceda.
