AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF IRWINDALE REZONING CERTAIN HEREIN
DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY (CASE NO. 65-3-ZC;
CITY INITIATED).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Irwindale does hereby fine, determine and declare as follows:
(a) That the Planning Commission of the City of
Irwindale has heretofore initiated a zone change
proceeding for certain property located in the City
of Irwindale, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as is more particularly described in
Planning Commission Resolution No. 33 (65); and
(b) That said Commission conducted a duly
noticed public hearing upon said matter, and has
recommended, by its said Resolution No. 33 (65), that
the property, hereinafter described, be rezoned from
Zone A-1 and M-2 to R-1 (5000) and M-1; and
(c) That the City Council conducted a duly
noticed public hearing and, based upon the evidence
adduced, the staff reports, the Planning Commission's
files and recommendations, and each member of the
Council being familiar with the site, determined that
the public interest, convenience and necessity
requires that the zone classification of the property
hereinafter described, be changed from Zone A-1 and
M-2 to R-1 (5000) and M-1.
SECTION 2. That notwithstanding Section 9310 of the
Irwindale Municipal Code, the following described properties
be, and the same hereby are, rezoned:
(a) From A-1 to R-1 (5000):
Lots 1 through 22 inclusive of Tract No. 4316
recorded in Map Book 50 page 5 of the Office of
the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, and
that portion of the southwest quarter of the
southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of
Section 4, Township 1 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B.M., commencing West 18 feet and North 20
feet from the southwest corner of Lot 11 of said
Tract 4316; thence West 100 feet with a uniform
depth of 130 feet.
(b) From A-1 and M-2 to M-1:
That portion of the southeast quarter of Section
4, Township 1 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B.M.,
commencing North 20 feet and West 118 feet from
the southwest corner of Lot 11, Tract No. 4316,
recorded in Map Book No. 50 page 5 of the Office
of the County of Los Angeles; thence Westerly 202
feet with a uniform depth of 625 feet.

SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance, and cause the same to be published
in the manner prescribed by law.

NOES: COUNCILMEN: Miranda.
