ORDINANCE NO. 180
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF IRWINDALE AMENDING SECTION 2401
OF THE IRWINDALE MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING
TO MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING COMaSSION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 2401 of the Irwindale
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"2401. MEMBERS: The Planning Commission
of this'City shall consist of five (5)
members appointed by the Mayor, subject
to the approval of the City Council. No
person shall be eligible for appointment
to the Planning Commission unless he is
a resident and registered, qualified voter
of this City at the time of appointment
and at all times during his term of office.
Commission members may be removed with or
without cause, by a majority vote of the
City Council. Vacancies to the Commission
shall be filled by the Council in the same
manner as new appointments are made, except
that such an appointee shall serve only for
the,unexpired.term,of the person whose seat
he has been appointed to."
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify the
adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be posted
in the manner prescribed by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of May, 1966.

I, Margaret S. Barbosa, City Clerk of the City of
Irwindale do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No.
180 was regularly introduced, adopted and passed at a
regular meeting of the City Council on the 17th day of May,
1966, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Breceda, Diaz, M.Miranda,
Barbosa and Mayor P. Miranda.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.

CITY OF IRWINDALE
I, Margaret S,. Barbosa, being first duly sworn,
deposes and says:
That she is the duly appointed and City Clerk of
the City of Irwindale, California, and is and was at all times
herein mentioned a citizen of the United States over the age
of eighteen (18) years and competent to be witness herein.
On May 20, 1966, she securely and conspicuously
posted at each of the public places in said City, to wit:
1. Police Department;
2. Post Office on Irwindale Avenue;
3. At or near the door of the Council Chambers,
a copy of Ordinance No. 180 of the City of Irwindale, being
in all respects the same as that attached hereto and made a
part hereof.
