ORDINANCE NO. 181
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF IRWINDALE AMENDING SECTION 2402
AND 2403 OF THE IRWINDALE MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATINGTO THE PLANNING COMMISSION.
The City Council of the City of Irwinale does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That Sections 2402 and 2403 of the
Irwindale Municipal Code are hereby amended to read as
follows:
2402. Compensation I and expenses. Each -member
of the Planning Commission shall receive the sum of
Twenty -Five Dollars (25.00) for each meeting actually
attendedwhich in no event shall exceed a total of $50.00
per month each. -;They may receive reasonable traveling and
indidental expenses when attending planning conferences,
meetings,of planning executives, or hearings on planning
legislation or matter affecting planning within the City,
and actual and necessary expenses incurred in the
performance of official duties. No,expense of any kind
shall be incurred by the Planning Commission, or members
thereof, unless first authorized and approved by the City
Council.
2403. Meetings. There shall be two regular
meetings of the Planning Commission during each calendar
month, which shall,be held at the�times fixed by resolution
of the Planning Commission. In the event such meeting
date falls on.a. holiday, said regular meeting shall be held
at the same hour as,'Lhe regular meeting but on the next
succeeding day which is not a holiday. Any such regular
meeting may be adjourned from time to time.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall not be
effective until the 30th day of June, 1966.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall -certify to
the adoption of this ordinance, and cause the same to be
published in the manner prescribed by law.

I, Margaret S. Barbosa, City Clerk of the City of
Irwindale do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No.
181 was regularly introduced, adopted and passed at a
regular meeting of the City Council on the 17th day of May,
1966, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: M. Miranda, Barbosa, and Mayor
P. Miranda.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: Diaz.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: BRECEDA.

I, Margaret S. Barbosa, being first duly sworn,
deposes and says:
That she is the duly appointed and City Clerk of
the City of Irwindale, California, and is and was at all
times herein mentioned a citizen of the United States over
the age of eighteen (18) yeais and competent to be witness
herein.
On May 20, 1966, she securely and conspicuously
posted at each of the public places in said City, to wit:
1. Police Department;
2. Post Office on Irwindale Avenue
3. At or near the door of the Council Chambers,
a copy of Ordinance No. 181 of the City of Irwindale, being
in all respects the same as that attached hereto and made a
part hereof.
