AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF IRWINDALE REZONING CERTAIN
HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Irwindale
does hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
(a) That the Planning Commission of the
City of Irwindale has heretofore conducted a
series of public hearings to consider the
rezoning and reclassification of certain real
property located within said City; and
(b) That based upon the recommendations
of the Planning Commission, the City Council
conducted public hearings upon said matters,
and determined that the public interest,
convenience and necessity require the reclass-
ification of said real property in the manner
hereinafter described; and
(c) That the properties to which this
Ordinance relates are more particularly described
as follows:
Lot 22 of Possessory Map recorded
in Book 14 at page 32 of Maps on file
in the Office of the County Recorder
of the Councy'of Los Angeles; and
Lot 45 of Possessory Map recorded
in Book 4 at page 58 et seq., of Maps
on file in the Office of the County
Recorder of the County of Los Angeles.
(d) That the Planning Commission's
recommendhtions were approved in part and dis-
approved in part by the City Council; and
(e) That the public interest, convenience
and necessity requires that said properties be
rezoned in Zone C-3.
SECTION 2. That notwithstanding the provisions of Section
9310 of the Irwindale Municipal Code, said real properties, above
described, be and the same hereby are, rezoned to C-3.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be posted
in the manner prescribed by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of May, 1967.

I, Margaret S. Barbosa, City Clerk of the City of Irwindale
do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 193 was regularly
introduced, adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 2nd day of May, 1967, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Breceda, Diaz and Barbosa.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
IN ABSTENTION: COUNCILMEN: Pat Miranda and Mike Miranda

I, Margaret S. Barbosa, being first duly sworn, deposes
and says:
That she is the duly appointed and City Clerk of the
City of Irwindale, California, and is and was at all times herein
mentioned a citizen of the United States over the age of eighteen
(18) years and competent to be witness herein.
On May 5, 1967, she securely and conspicuously posted
at each of the public places in said City, to wit:
1. Police Department;
2. Post Office on Calle del Norte;
3. At or near the door of the Council Chambers, a copy
of Ordinance No. 193 of the City of Irwindale, being in all respects
the same as that attached hereto and made a part thereof.
