AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE AMENDING
SECTION 9345 OF THE IRWINDALE
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE
GIVING OF NOTICE FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 9345 of the Irwindale Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"9345. Notices. Notices of the time and place
of public hearings before the Commission and the
Council, on Zone Variances and Conditional Use
Permits� shall be given by United States Mail,
postage prepaid, addressed to the owners'of property
located within a radius of 500 feet from the
external boundaries of the subject project,
addressed to said owners as shown on the latest
equalized assessment roll of the,County of Los
Angeles, and by such other method as the City
Manager,may direct. i
Notices shall be given at least ten days in
advance of the date set for hearing and shall
contain a general description of the subject
property, a brief description of the proposed
,use, and the date, time and place of the
hearing."
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption hereof, and cause the same to be posted in the manner
prescribed by law.

I, Margaret S. Barbosa, City Clerk of the City of Irwindale
do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 196 was regularly
introduced, adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 16th day of May, 1967, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Breceda, Pat Miranda, Barbosa and
Mayor Mike Miranda.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Diaz.

CITY OF IRWINDALE
I, Margaret S. Barbosa, being first duly sworn, deposes
and says: I
That she is the duly appointed and City Clerk of the
City of Irwindale, California, and -is and was at all times herein
mentioned a citizen of the United States over the age of eighteen
(18) years and competent to be witness herein.
On May 18, 1967, she securely and conspicuously posted
at each of the public places in said City, to wit:
I. Police Department;
2. 'Post Office on Calle del Norte;
3. At or near the door of the Council Chambers, a copy
of Ordinance No. 196 of the City of Irwindale, being in all respects
the same as that attached hereto and made a part hereof.
