ORDINANCE NO. 203
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF IRWINDALE RECLASSIFYING OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY (Case No. 67-5-5 ZC
Applicant: Thorsen -Gregorian).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Irwindale
does hereby find, determine, and declare as follows:
(a) That the Planning Commission has conducted a
public hearing to consider the reclassification
of certain herein described property from Zone
A-1 to Zone M-1 or more restrictive zone; and
(b) That the property to which this matter relates
is located in the City of Irwindale, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, and is more
particularly described as follows:
Those portions of Lots 48, 49, and
55 of J. R. Loftus Tract No. 1 in
the City of Irwindale, County of
Los Angeles, State of California,
as shown on map recorded in Book 14,
page 29 of Maps in the office of the
Recorder of said County, described
as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of
said Lot 48, then along the northerly
lines of Lots 48 and 49 north 890 21'
19" east 475.03 feet to the westerly
line of that certain 60 foot strip
of land described in deed to Los
Angeles County Flood Control District
recorded as Document No. 3311 on May
23, 1956 in Book 51263, page 374 of
Official Records; thence along said
westerly line south 0010' 13" east
389.69 feet to the south-westerly pro-
longation of the northwesterly line
of that certain parcel of land
described as Parcel 16 in final judge-
ment in favor of the United States of
America, a certified copy of which was
recorded on February 13, 1942 in Book
19118, Page 209 of Official Records
in the Office of said Recorder; thence
along said southwesterly prolongation
south 45000'00" west 463.12 feet to a
line which bears north 89021' 19" east
from a point in the easterly line of
Ordinance No. 203 251
Lot 58 of said Tract, said point being
north 0010'13" west 596.02 feet from
the southeast corner of said Lot 58;
thence south 89021'19" west 146.57
feet to said.point;•then north 0010'13"
west 713.48 feet along the easterly
line of said Lot 58 and the westerly
lines of said Lots 55 and 48 to the
point of beginning.
(c) That the City Council has determined that the
Public Interest., convencience and necessity require
that said real property be reclassified from Zone
A-1 to Zone M-1.
SECTION 2. That notwithstanding Section 9310 of the
Irwindale Municipal Code, the above described real property be
and the same, hereby is rezoned from A-1 to Zone M-1.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and shall cause a copy hereof to be
posted in the manner prescribed by law.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 1st day of August, 1967.

meeting of the City Council on the 1st day of August, 1967, by

Mike Miranda.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Breced"a.

I, Margaret S. Barbosa, being first duly sworn, deposes and.
says:
252 Ordinance No. 203
That she is the duly appointed and City Clerk of the City
of Irwindale, California, and is and was at all times herein
mentioned a citizen of the.United States over theage of
eighteen years and competent to be witness herein._
On Aug; 21, 1967, she securely and conspicuously posted
at each of the public places in said City, to wit:
1. Police Department;
2. Post Office on Calle del Norte;
3. At or near the door of the Council Chambers, a
copy of Ordinance No. 203 of the City of Irwindale, being in
all respects the same as that attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
