ORDINANCE NO. 220
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF IRWINDALE REZONING CERTAIN
HEREIN DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY (CASE
NO. 68-5-ZC; APPLICANT: SAFFELL AND
McADAM) .
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAINI.T
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Irwindale does hereby find, determine and declare as
follows:
(a) That the Planning Commission of
the City of Irwindale has heretofore
considered a zone change application
requesting the.rezoning from Zone Q
to Zone M-2,''fer certain real property
located on Bueno Rio Drive easterly
of Tifal Avenue in the City of
Irwindale, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, more particularly
described on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and incorporated herein by
this reference; and
(b) That the Commission conducted a
duly noticed public hearing upon said matter,
and thereafter' denied the application
as above described; and
(c) That the City Council conducted a
duly noticed public hearing upon an
appeal from the decision of the
Planning Commission, and based upon
the evidence presented at said
hearing, and each member of the
Council being familiar with the
site, determined that the public
interest, convenience and necessity
require that said property be
reclassified from Zone Q to Zone M-2.
SECTION 2. That notwithstanding Section 9310 of the
Irwindale Municipal Code, the above described real property
be, and the same hereby is, reclassified from Zone Q to
Zone M-2.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be posted
in the manner prescribed by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of July, 1968.

Irwindale, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 220
was regularly introduced, adopted and passed at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 2nd day of July, 1968, by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Chico, Barbosa, M. Miranda, and
Breceda.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: P. Miranda.

I, Margaret S. Barbosa, being first duly sworn, deposes
and says:
That she is the duly appointed and City Clerk of the City
of Irwindale, California, and is and was at all times herein
mentioned a citizen of the United States over the age of
eighteen years and competent to be witness herein. `
On July 9, 1968, she securely and conspicuously posted
at each of the three designated public places in said City.
