AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF IRWINDALE AMENDING THE
BUSINESS LICENSE PROVISIONS OF THE
IRWINDALE MUNICIPAL CODE WITH
REFERENCE TO PUBLIC DUMPS.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 6252.40 is hereby added to the
Irwindale Municipal Code, to read as follows:
"6252.40. GROSS RECEIPTS. DUMPS.
Notwithstanding any provision of this Code,
or any conditions of approval imposed upon
any permit heretofore issued to the contrary,
whenever this Code requires the payment of a
business license tax by the owner and/or
operator of a public dump, based upon gross
receipts, such owner and/or operator shall
establish and collect a uniform charge to
all persons Who deposit materials in such
dump; the said tax shall be based, and paid
to the City, without offset, upon the gross
receipts realized from such charges."
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be posted
in the manner prescribed by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 18th day of February, 1969.

I, Margaret S. Barbosa, being first duly sworn, deposes
and says: That she is the duly appointed and City Clerk of the
City of.Irwindale, California, and is and was at all times herein
mentioned a citizen of the United States over the age of eighteen
years and competent to be a witness herein.
On February 20, 1969, she securely and conspicuously posted
at each of the three designated public places in said City.
