AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF IRWINDALE ADDING SECTION
6252.41 TO THE IRWINDALE MUNICIPAL
CODE, RELATING TO BUSINESS LICENSE
TAXES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 6252.41 is hereby added to the
Irwindale Municipal Code, to read as follows:
"6252.41. OIL PRODUCTION FACILITIES.
Every person who is engaged in the business
of extracting or exploring for the purpose
of extracting oil or other similar bydro-
carbon substances, shall pay an annual
business license tax in a sum equal to
$1,000.00 per well, plus $0.03 per barrel
actually extracted."
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be posted
in the manner prescribed by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of June, 1969.

introduced, adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City Council
on the 3rd day of June, 1969, by the following vote:

Barbosa and Chico.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.

I, Margaret S. Barbosa, being first duly sworn, deposes
and says; that she is the duly appointed and City Clerk of the City
of Irwindale, California, and is and was at all times herein
mentioned a citizen of the United States over the age of eighteen
years and competent to be a witness herein.
On June 9, 1969, she securely and conspicuously posted at
each of the three designated public places in said City.
