�S AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF IRWINDALE AMENDING SECTION
2100 OF THE IRWINDALE MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO THE DATE OF COUNCIL MEETINGS
AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMMEDIATE
ENACTMENT HEREOF,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Irwindale
does hereby ordain that Section 2100 of the Irwindale Municipal Code
is amended to read as follows:
"2100. COUNCIL MEETINGS, There shall be two (2)
regular meetings of the City Council during each
calendar month and such meetings shall be held on the
first and third Thursday thereof, at the hour of
7:30 o'clock p. m., provided, however, that if the
date of any such regular meeting falls on a holiday,
said regular meeting may not be held on that Holiday,
but will be held at 7:30 o'clock p. m., on the next
succeeding day thereafter which is not a legal
holiday. Any regular meeting may be adjourned from
time to time, and special meetings may be called in
the manner provided by law. (Ord. 162)
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Irwindale
declares it is necessary to adopt this Ordinance as an Emergency
Ordinance as it is necessary to fix immediately a date for the
holding of the meetings of the City Council.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be published or
posted in the manner prescribed by law.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of August, 1969.

introduced, duly passed as an urgency ordinance at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 5th day of August, 1969, by the following
vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Breceda, Mike Miranda, Barbosa and
Pat Miranda;
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Chico.

I, Margaret S. Barbosa, being first duly sworn, deposes
and says; that She is the duly appointed and City Clerk of the City
of Irwindale, California, and is and was at all times herein
mentioned a citizen of the United States over the age of eighteen
years and competent to be a witness herein.
On August 8, 1969, she securely and conspicuously posted
at each of the three designated public places in said City.
