AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE
AMENDING SECTION 2100 OF THE CITY CODE
RELATING TO THE HOLDING OF REGULAR
COUNCIL MEETINGS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Section 2100 of the City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Section 2100. Council Meetings, There
shall be two (2) regular meetings of the City
Council during each calendar month and such
meetings shall be held on the second and
fourth Thursday thereof, at the hour of
7:30 O'Clock P. M,, provided, however, that
if the date of any such regular meeting
falls on a holiday, said regular meeting
may not be held that holiday, but will
be held at 7:30 O'Clock P.M., on the next
succeeding day thereafter which is not a
legal holiday. Any regular meeting may be
adjourned from time to time, and special
meetings may be called in the manner provided
by law.
SECTION 2, The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be processed in
the manner prescribed by law and this Ordinance shall become
immediately effective as an Urgency Ordinance in order to conduct
necessary City business.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 13th day of May, 1971.

being Ordinance No. 242, was introduced as an urgency ordinance
at a regular adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City
of Irwindale, held on the 13th day of May, 1971, and was duly
passed, approved and adopted by said Council, approved and signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk by the following
vote of the Council:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Breceda, Mike Miranda, Pat Miranda,
Diaz and Mayor Chico.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
