ORDINANCE NO. 254
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF IRWINDALE AMENDING SECTION 3182 OF THE
IRWINDALE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO TRAFFIC
SPEED LIMITS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 3182 of the Irwindale Municipal
Code is hereby amended by changing the declared prima facie
speed limit on the following streets, or portions thereof, to
read as follows:
Name of street or portion Declared prima facie
affected speed limit
Irwindale Avenue between 35 miles per hour
Arrow Highway and the South
City Limits
Vincent Avenue
40 miles per hour
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be processed in the
manner prescribed by law.

Irwindale, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being
Ordinance No. 254, was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Irwindale, held on the 25th day of
May, 1972, and was duly passed, approved and adopted by said
Council, approved and signed by the Mayor and attested by the
City Clerk at a regular meeting of the said City Council held on
the 8th day of June, 1972, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: MIKE MIRANDA, JOE BRECEDA, AND DIAZ;
NOES: COUNCILMEN: RICHARD BRECEDA;
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: CHICO.
