ORDINANCE NO. 268
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF IRWINDALE AMENDING SECTIONS 2402 AND 2403
AND REPEALING SECTION 2404 OF THE IRWINDALE
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO COMPENSATION AND
MEETINGS OF PLANNING COMMISSIONERS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Sections 2402 and 2403 of the Irwindale Municipal
Code are hereby amended to read as follows:
"2402. Compensation and Expenses. Each member of the
Planning Commission shall receive the sum of $50.00 for each
regular meeting actually attended which in no, event shall
exceed a total of $50:00 per month each. Each member may
receive roasenable traveling and incidental expenses when
attending planning conferences, meetings of planning
executives, or hearings on planning legislation or matter
affecting planning within the city and actual and necessary
expenses incurred in the performance of official duties. No
expense of any kind shall be incurred by the Planning
Commission or members thereof, unless first authorized and
approved by the City Council."
"2403. Meetings. There shall be only one regular
meeting of the Planning Commission during each calendar month,
which shall be held at the time fixed by resolution of the
Planning Commission. In the event such meeting date falls on a
holiday, said regular meeting shall be held at the same hour as
the regular meeting but on the next succeeding day which is not
a holiday. Any such regular meeting may be adjourned from time
to time".
SECTION 2. Section 2404 of the Irwindale Municipal Code is
hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be processed in the
manner prescribed by law.

Irwindale, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance,
being Ordinance No. 268, was introduced at a regular
adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Irwindale,
held on the 16th day of August, 1973, and was duly passed,
approved and adopted by said Council, approved and signed by
the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk at a regular meeting
of the said City Council held on the 27th day of September,
1973, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Barbosa, Diaz, Breceda, Chico and
Miranda
NOES: COUNCILMEN: .None
