AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF IRWINDALE ADDING A NEW SECTION
4303 TO THE IRWINDALE MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO LICENSING OF ANIMALS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 4303 is hereby added to the
Irwindale Municipal Code as follows:
4303. Licensing of Animals. Whenever dog license
tags are issued and not covered by Section 410, any
such tag shall be issued for one-half or less of the
fee required for a dog, if a certificate is presented
from a licensed veterinarian that the dog has been
spayed or neutered as provided in Section 30804.5 of
the Food and Agricultural Code.
(a) Dog licenses shall be $7 per animal and
$3.50 for neutered animals.
(b) Shelter fees shall be as follows:
(1) Establish a fee for DHL $1.00
vaccine and serum.
(2) Establish a fee for dead 10.00
animal pick up at private
veterinarian hospitals.
(3) Increase the daily boarding 2.00
fees for dogs at Animal
Control Centers.
(4) Increase the redemption 10.00
fees for dogs at Animal
Control Centers.
(5) Levy a fee for impounding N.C.
animals where the owner is
known- which are brought in.
(6) Levy a fee for impounding 2.00
animals where the owner is
known - which are picked up.
(7) Increase rabies vaccination 5.00
fee at Animal Control
" Centers.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be processed in
the manner prescribed by law.
