ORDINANCE NO. 285
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE
AMENDING SECTION 6253 OF THE IRWINDALE
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO GROSS
RECEIPTS BUSINESS LICENSE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION. The rate schedule provided in Section 6253 is
hereby amended to read as follows:

Whenever any business is subject to a gross receipts tax
pursuant to the foregoing schedule, in an amount in excess of
$1,000 annually, then such licensee shall be entitled to a
credit for any amount in excess of $1,000 annually to the extent
such licensee pays to, or for the benefit of the City of
Irwindale of sales taxes on the transactions of such licensee.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this.Ordinance and -shall -cause the same to be
processed in the manner prescribed by law.

I, Margaret S. Barbosa, City Clerk of the City of
Irwindale, do hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance,
being Ordinance No. 285, was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Irwindale, held on the
24th day of April, 1975 and was duly passed, approved and
adopted by said Council, approved and signed by the Mayor
and attested by the City Clerk at a regular meeting on the
8th day of May, 1975, of the City Council by the following
vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Barbosa, Breceda, Michael Miranda,
Pat Miranda and Mayor Chico.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
