AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE
ESTABLISHING A CAPITAL OUTLAY FUND
PURSUANT'TO SECTION 53730 et 'seq' OF THE
GOVERNMENT CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 53730 et seq of the
Government Code of the State of California, there is hereby
established a Capital Outlay Fund which shall remain inviolate
for a period of ten (10) years for the purpose of making capital
outlays on or after July 1, 1985, for the purpose of acquiring
land for public purposes or redevelopment; and money within such
fund shall not be disbursed from the fund except for such
purposes, unless the City Council shall first submit a
proposition to the electors of Irwindale, to obtain consent to
use the monies in such fund for some other specific purpose, all
as more fully set forth in Section 53736 of'the Government Code
of the State of California. After July 1, 1985, the money in
such fund may be used for any purpose including the ordinary
operating expenses of the City by action of the City Council and
without consent of the electors.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be p�ocessed in the
manner prescribed by law.

and was duly passed, approved and adopted.by said Co0heil, approved
and signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Cletk at a regular
meeting of the said City Council held on the 11th day of
December, 1975, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Barbosa, Breceda, Michael Miranda,
Pat Miranda and Mayor Chico.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
