ORDINANCE NO. 303
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE APPROVING
A REDEVELOPMENT PLAN OF THE CITY OF DUARTE WHICH
INCLUDES A PORTION OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE
WHEREAS, on January 22, 1976, the City Council adopted, -its
Ordinance No. 298 authorizing the redevelopment of an area within
the City of Irwindale by the City of Duarte; and
WHEREAS, the City of Duarte has presented to this City Council a
plan entitled "Redevelopment Plan For the Amended Davis Addition
Project Area", which plan is on file in the office of the City Clerk;
and
WHEREAS, this City Council has reviewed said Plan and wishes to
approve it pursuant to the provisions of California Health and
Safety Code Section 33213.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby approves said Redevelopment
Plan for the Amended Davis Addition Project Area.
Section 2. The City of Duarte is authorized to undertake the
Redevelopment of that portion of the City of Irwindale which is
included in such Plan, in all respects as if such area was within the
territorial limits of the City of Duarte.
Section 3. The City Council, Redevelopment Agency and Planning
Commission,of_the City of Duarte shall have all the rights, powers
and privileges with respect to such area as if it was within the
territorial limits of the City of Duarte. .
Section 4. Such redevelopment shall be carried out in all respects
in accordance with the provisions of the Community Redevelopment Law of
the State of California and all other applicable provisions of law.

I, Margaret S. Barbosa, City Clerk of the City of Irwindale, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance #303, was approved
at first reading, August 5, regular adjourned meeting, and was duly
passed, approved and adopted by said Council, approved and signed by the
Mayor and attested by the City Clerk at a regular meeting held on the
26th day of August, 1976.
