AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE
AMENDING SECTION 6252.37, OF THE IRWINDALE
MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO BUSINESS LICENSE
TAXES AND DUMP CHARGES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF .IRWINDAT.,E -DOE'S 'ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. SECTION 6252.37 of the Irwindale Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
6252.37 Business L;cense Tax - Dumps
Subject to the provisions of.this Code relating
to the escalation of business license taxes due to the
increases to the cost of living, there is hereby
imposed on each person engaged in the business of
dumping of materials, including Class I, Class II or
Class III materials, or in the business of providing
space for the dumping of such materials, whether as
owner or operator and whether for rehabilitation or not,
other than for grading of a particular site under the
grading ordinance of the city, a business license tax of
$500 per year plus 6Q per ton of material dumped.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be processed in the
manner prescribed by law.
