AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
IRWINDALE IMPOSING A REAL ESTATE"TRANSFER TAX
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. A Real Estate Property Transfer Tax is hereby
imposed upon the sale of transfer of all real property in the
City of Irwindale.
SECTION 2. The rate of tax shall be 1% of the transfer
price or value, or such lesser amount as the City Council may from
time to time set by Resolution.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall become immediately effective
pursuant to Government Code Section 36937(d), of the California
Government Code.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be processed -in the
manner prescribed by Law.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 29th day of June, 1978.

do hereby 'certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 326 was
approved on first reading on the 22nd day of June, 1978, approved
and adopted at a regular adjourned meeting held on the 29th day
of June, 1978, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Barbosa, Breceda, Michael Miranda and
Mayor Tapia;
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
