ORDINANCE NO. 340
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE
AMENDING THE ZONING CODE BY ADDING A
NEW "X" ZONE AND ZONING CERTAIN
PROPERTY THERETO.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. A new "X" Zone (Exclusive Zone) is hereby added
to the Irwindale,Zoning Code as to which the regulations shall be
for open space, and no structural use shall be made thereof nor
any quarry or mining operations or grading operations be conducted
thereon, except those that may be specifically.authorized by the
City Council for conservation, open space or drainage.
Zone: The following property is hereby reclassified into the
X
All properties located within 150 feet of the
San Gabriel River Bed, and which are presently
classified in the C, M, or Q Zones.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be processed in
the manner prescribed by law.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance
No. 340 was duly passed, approved and adopted by said Council
approved and signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk
at a regular meeting of the said City Council held on the 19th
day of May, 1980, by the following vote:
