ORDINANCE NO. 352
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF IRWINDALE ADDING NEW SUB—SECTION
"D" TO SECTION 5.o8.34o OF THE IRWINDALE
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO PEDDLERS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The following Sub -section "D" is hereby added
to Section 5.08.340 of the Irwindale Municipal Code.
D. Due to traffic congestion and the protection
of public health, safety and welfare it shall be
unlawful for any peddler or itinerant vendor to
sell or offor for sale any food, beverage or
merchandise on the public streets or sidewalks
i ( on Irwindale Avenue, on Arrow Highway or within
100 feet of any freeway corridor.
It shall further be unlawful for any such
vendor or intinerant merchant, exd-luding all
regularly licensed retail businesses and all
permanently placed buildings to sell or offer
for sale any food, beverage or merchandise
from private property located within 10 feet
of any public street or sidewalk on Irwindale
Avenue or Arrow Highway or within 100 feet of
any freeway corridor.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance and cause the same to be processed according
to the Government Code.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 351 was
approved on 1st reading on the 28th day of May1981, approved
and adopted at a regular meeting held on the loth day of June,
1981, by the following vote;
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Barbosa, Castellanos, Michael Miranda and
Mayor Arthur Tapia
NOES: COUNCILMEN: Pat Miranda
