ORDINANCE NO. 359
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF IRWINDALE ADDING SECTION 16.22.010
THROUGH 16.22.030 TO CHAPTER 16 OF THE
IRWINDALE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATIVE TO SUB-
DIVISIONS - LOT LINE ADJUSTMENTS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following Sections are hereby added to Chapter 16.
16.22.010 CRITERIA. Persons owning two or more adjacent parcels who propose
to adjust the boundaries of said parcels in a manner so that the land taken from
one parcel is added to an adjacent parcel and a greater number of parcels than
originally existed is not htereby created may apply for a lot line adjustment.
16.22.020. LOT LINE ADJUSTMENTS. For the purpose of this chapter, a lot
line adjustment is any division of land not requiring a subdivision tract map,
as specified by the Subdivision Map Act, in which no more parcels are created by
the division than existed prior to it and which does not substantially change the
size or shape of the parcel or parcels involved. Lot line adjsutments shall
be subject to all the same requirements, conditions and controls as are
applicable to other divisions of land.
16.22.030 APPLICATION. Applications for a lot line adjustment and the
review and recordation thereof shall conform with such requirements as to form,
contents and process as may be specified by the City Manager or by authorized
representative. Applications for lot line adjustments shall be reviewed by the
City Manager or authorized representative, who shall, approve or disapprove
the proposed lot line adjustment.
16.22.040 APPEALS. Any person adversely and directly affected by the
decision of the City Manager or authorized representative may appeal said decision
to the Planning Commission.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance
and shall cause the same to be processed in the manner prescribed by law.

certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being Oreinance No. 359, was approved on
1st reading at a regular adjourned meeting of the City Council held on the
17th of December, 1981, was duly passed, approved and adopted by said council,
on the 21st day of January, 1982, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Barbosa, Castellanos; Michael Miranda, Pat Miranda and
Mayor Tapia.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
