AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
IRWINDALE, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING A NEED FOR AN
INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND DECLARING
THAT SUCH AUTHORITY SHALL FUNCTION
WHEREAS, the California Industrial Development Financing Act,
California Government Code Sections 91500 et seq. (the "Act"),
has created in the City of Irwindale a public, corporate
instrumentality of the State of California known as the Industrial
Development Authority of the City of Irwindale, for the purpose
of exercising powers granted by the Act; and
r*+^ WHEREAS, Section 91520 of the Act provides that said authority
shall not transact any business or exercise any powers under the
Act unless, by ordinance, this Council declares that there is a
need for such authority and that the authority shall function;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It is hereby found and declared that there
is a need for the Industrial Development Authority of the City
of Irwindale created by Section 91520 of the Act and that such
Authority shall function in the City of Irwindale, and said
Authority is hereby authorized to transact business and to exercise
all powers permitted by law.
Section 2. Pursuant to Section 91520(b) of the Act, this
Ordinance is subject to the provisions for referendum set forth
in Sections 4051 through 4058 of the California Elections Code,
Section 3, The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
and post this Ordinance as required by law.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days after its passage as provided by law.

hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 363 was adopted by
the City Council of the City of Irwindale at regular meeting held
on November 30, 1982, by the following vote of the Council.
