AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE
ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE 1986 LOS
ANGELES FIRE CODE WHICH ADOPTS THE
1985 EDITION OF THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE
WITH AMENDMENTS
The City Council of the City of Irwindale does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 86-004 of the County of Los Angeles
which ordinance adopts by reference with amendments the 1986 edition
of the Uniform Fire Code, is hereby adopted by reference, and
the Irwindale Municipal Code is amended accprdingly.,
SECTION 2. One copy of said Ordinance No. 86-004 of the County
of Los Angeles has been deposited in the office of the City Clerk
and shall be at all times maintained by said Clerk for use and
examination by the public.
SECTION 3. Article 78 (Fireworks) of said Uniform Fire Code
is hereby repealed and not made a part of the Irwindale Fire Code.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be processed
in the manner prescribed by law.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th day of July, 1986.

Irwindale, o hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being
Ordinance No. 405, was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Irwindale held on the 26th day of June,
1986, and duly passed, approved and adopted by said Council,
approved and signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 17th day of
July, 1986, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Breceda, Tapia, P. Miranda, Diaz
and Mayor Castellanos
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
