ORDINANCE NO. 407
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE
ADDING NEW SUBSECTIONS Q AND R TO
SECTION 9.16.020 OF THE IRWINDALE MUNI-
CIPAL CODE RELATING TO PARK ACTIVITIES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. New subsections "Q" and "R" reading as follows,
are hereby added to the Irwindale Municipal Code.
"Q". To play, engage in or participate in any game such
as soccer, hockey, rugby, cricket, football or other team games
involving competitive body contact (excluding baseball), except
where and when specifically authorized at designated facilities by
the Recreation Director.
"R". To swim in (or otherwise use) the Municipal Pool
other than during the posted hours or at any time without supervision
by staff members or pool guards appointed by the Recreation Director.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be processed in the manner
prescribed by law.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance No.
407, was introduced at a Joint Meeting of the City Council and Park
& Recreation Commission of the City of Irwindale, held on the 17th
day of July, 1986, and duly passed, approved and adopted on second
reading by said Council, approved and signed by the Mayor and
attested by the Deputy City Clerk at a meeting held on the 28th day
of August, 1986, by the following vote of the Council:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Breceda, Diaz, P. Miranda, Tapia and Mayor
Castellanos
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
