ORDINANCE NO. 424
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE AMENDING
SECTIONS 17.64.030 (Q-1) AND (R) OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
OFF-STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Subsection Q-1 of Section 17.64.030 is
hereby amended to read as follows:
111) having not more than 5,000 sq. ft. of floor
area: 1 for each 250 sq. ft. of gross floor
area"
SECTION 2. Subsection R of Section 17.64.030 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"R) Warehouses and storage buildings: one parking space
for 250 sq. ft. of gross floor area."
SECTION 3. Section 17.64.100 is amended to provide:
"that the dimensions of standard car stalls be
established at 9 ft. x 19 ft. and a compact size
stall of 15 ft. x 8 ft. and that the aisle width of
90 degree parking be established at 26 feet. Future
developers must provide for a maximum 25% of the
required stalls to be compact.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk of the City of Irwindale
shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance and
to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to be
posted as required by law.

I hereby certify that the oregoing ordinance, being
Ordinance No. 424 was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Irwindale held on April 28, 1988,
and was approved on first reading, and was duly approved,
passed and adopted on second reading at the regular meeting
held May 26, 1988 by the following vote.
AYES: Councilmen: J. Breceda, R. Diaz, S. Hernandez, R.
Chico, and P. Miranda
NOES: Councilmen: None
