ORDINANCE NO. 432
AN URGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE
EXTENDING MORATORIUM ORDINANCE NO. 429
IMPOSING A CONSTRUCTION AND USE MORATORIUM
ON PROPERTY FRONTING BOTH SIDES OF ARROW HWY.,
LIVE OAK, AND LONGDEN - WESTERLY OF I-605 FRWY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Government Code Section 65858
and public hearing held thereon, Ordinance 429 is hereby
extended for 6 months from April 9, 1989 imposing a
construction and use moratorium on the north and south sides
of: 1) Arrow Highway; 2) Live Oak; and 3) Longden - all
westerly of I-605 Freeway.
SECTION 2. The Council finds that progress is being
made on the Raider Stadium and this extension is necessary.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published according to law.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to
Government Code Section 65858, and the Council finds the proper
emergency exists in the manner and means as set forth above.
ACCORDINGLY, this Ordinance shall become immediately
effective.

certify that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 432,
was introduced as an URGENCY ordinance at a regular meeting
held on the 27th day of April 1989, and was approved, passed
and adopted by the following vote of the Council:

Chico and S. Hernandez
