AN URGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE
EXTENDING MORATORIUM ORDINANCE NO. 433
IMPOSING A CONSTRUCTION AND USE MORATORIUM
ON PROPERTY FRONTING BOTH SIDES OF ARROW HWY.,
LIVE OAK, AND LONGDEN AND WEST OF THE EXTENSION
OF MAINE AVENUE TO THE I-605 FREEWAY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Government Code Section 65858
and public hearing held thereon, Ordinance 433 is hereby
extended for 6 months to January 9, 1990 imposing a
construction and use moratorium on the north and south sides
of: 1) Arrow Highway; 2) Live Oak; and 3) Longden; and west
of the extension of Maine Avenue to the I-605 Freeway.
SECTION 2. The Council finds that progress is being
made on the Raider Stadium and this extension is necessary.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to
Government Code Section 65858, and the Council finds the proper
emergency exists in the manner and means as set forth above.

I, Deputy City Clerk of the City of Irwindale, do hereby
certify that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 434,
was introduced as an URGENCY ordinance at a regular meeting
held on the 22nd day of June 1989, and was approved, passed and
adopted by the following vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen: J. Breceda, R. Diaz, P. Miranda, R.
Chico, and S. Hernandez
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT: Councilmen: None
