AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY IRWINDALE, CALIFORNIA
EXTENDING ORDINANCE NO. 435
The City Council of the City of Irwindale does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. Based upon a public hearing, properly
noticed and according to the procedures set forth in Section
65858 of the Government Code, Ordinance No. 435 is hereby
extended for a period of 180 days.
SECTION 2. The reasons for such extension are as set
forth in the report submitted by the City Engineer and for the
further reason that the Planning Staff and Planning Commission
have found that the development of any of the parcels of
property in and around the proposed Stadium Site will be
inconsistent with the plan to develop all surrounding areas
with a common developer for the following reasons:
a. If the current development plans before the
City are permitted to be developed with freight yard and
similar uses, the City will be unable to develp the
surrounding properties in a manner consistent with a Stadium
use, namely for commercial and office uses.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be processed in
the manner prescribed by law.

certify that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 437
was introduced at an adjourned regular meeting held on the 9th
day of November, 1989, and was, approved and adopted by said
Council by the following vote of the Council:
