ORDINANCE NO. 439
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE
AMENDING SECTION 17.80.030 OF THE
IRWINDALE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS
The City Council of the City of Irwindale does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. New subsection BB is added to Section 17.030
and subsection W thereof is amended to read as follows:
"BB. all uses which involve the use, sale or storage of
any materials classified as toxic or hazardous by
either the Federal or State Government as a
substantial part of the total use shall equire a
CUP, as shall the parking or storage of vehicles
used to carry such materials".
"W. all restaurants, eating establishments and on -sale
ABC licenses shall require a conditional use permit
(CUP).
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify
of this Ordinance and shall cause the same
the manner prescribed by law.

I, Deputy City Clerk of the City of Irwindale, do hereby
certify that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 439
was introduced at an adjourned regular meeting held on the 9th
day of November, 1989, and was approved on first reading, and
was duly passed, approved and adopted by said Council at their
adjourned meeting of December 14, 1989 by the following vote
of the Council:

Hernandez
