AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF IRWINDALE REPEALING ORDINANCES NOB. 294
AND 383.
A. Recitals.
(i) The City Council of the City of Irwindale adopted
Ordinance No. 294 on December 11, 1975.
(ii) Said Ordinance No. 294 was readopted and extended
by Ordinance No. 383, adopted on July 22, 1985.
(iii) The provisions of the California Government Code
authorizing the adoption of said Ordinances have been modified
thereby negating the purposes for which said Ordinances were
adopted.
(iv) The City Council has determined that the purposes
for adopting said Ordinances are no longer extant and the funds
set aside thereby are necessary for the general fund operations
of the City. Further, no useful purpose will be served by
establishing the independent accounts required by said
ordinances.
(v) Repeal of said Ordinances will further the
efficient operation of the City.
(vi) All legal prerequisites to the adoption of this
Ordinance have occurred.

B. Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Irwindale does ordain as follows:
Section 1. In all respects, as set forth in the
Recitals, Part A., of this Ordinance.
Section 2. Ordinance Nos. 294 and 393, and each of
them, hereby are repealed, in their entirety.
Section 3. The City's Finance Director hereby is
authorized and directed to allocate the funds set forth in the
account established by said Ordinances into the proper accounts
set forth in the City's 1993-94 Fiscal Year Budget, as heretofore
approved by the City Council.
Section A. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published in the manner prescribed by law.

introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Irwindale held on the 13th day of September , 1993, and
was finally passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of
