AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF IRWINDALE AMENDING SECTION 2.04.050 OF
CHAPTER 2.04 OF TITLE 2 OF THE IRWINDALE
MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO ELECTION OF MAYOR
AND MAYOR PRO -TEMPORE.
The City Council of the City of Irwindale does ordain
as follows:
Section 1. Section 2.04.050 of Chapter 2.04 of Title 2
of the Irwindale Municipal Code hereby is amended to read, in
words and figures, as follows:
108e0tion 2.04.050. Election o2' Mayor and Mayor
Pro -Tempore.
"The City Council shall elect one of its members to
r1 be Mayor and one of its members to be Mayor Pro -Tempore
as specified below:
"A. In even numbered years, at the regular Council
meeting at which the canvass of the results of the
general municipal election shall be conducted.
"B. In odd numbered years, at the first regular
meeting of the Council held in March.
"C. At such other times as a majority of the
Council shall so order."
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance.

Irwindale, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was
introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Irwindale held on the 10th day of February , 1994, and
was finally passed at a regular meeting of the Council of the
City of Irwindale held on the 24th day of February ,
1994 by the following vote:
