AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE
APPROVING ADJUSTMENTS TO THE BUDGET
FOR FISCAL 2005-2006 AND THE PRELIMINARY BUDGET FOR FISCAL
YEAR 2006-2007 AND ADOPTING THE BUDGET
FOR FISCAL YEAR 2006-2007
WHEREAS, the City Council ("City"), pursuant to its Ordinance No. 592 adopted
on July 5, 2005 approved its budget for Fiscal Year 2005-2006 Budget and the 2006-
2007 Preliminary Budget ("Budget") ; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to make adjustments to the adopted Budget for FY
2005-2006 and the Preliminary Budget for 2006-2007 consistent with the activities and
progress of projects and programs that have transpired since the adoption of the Budget;
and
WHEREAS, the City desires to consider the proposed budget adjustments and to
adopt the Budget for FY 2006-2007 and conduct a duly noticed public hearing ; and
WHEREAS, a copy of the proposed budget adjustments and proposed budget
have been on file in the Office of the Deputy City Clerk for public review; and
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted a duly noticed public hearing to consider
the proposed budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Irwindale hereby ordains as
follows:
SECTION 1. That the appropriations and adjustments to the for Fiscal Year 2005-
2006 Budget and 2006-2007 Preliminary Budget, and the proposed Budget for Fiscal
Year 2006-2007 shown in the attached "Exhibit A," and as modified by the City Council,
are hereby approved.
SECTION 2. That the Deputy City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published or posted, as required by law.
