The Irwindale PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION met in regular session at the above time
and place.

VICE CHAIR FRAIJO In response to several questions by Vice Chair Fraijo, Recreation
Manager Grijalva advised that the pool inspector inspects the pool
for health and safety. A recent inspection revealed that the chemical
control system needed adjusting and a fan was repaired. He added
that the lifeguards have saved several lives and spoke on the need
to prevent individuals from climbing the fence to enter the pool.
Recreation Manager Grijalva also advised that the Council has
recently changed the hours of operation for the Skate Park.
ASSISTANT CITY Assistant City Manager Diaz spoke on the change in procedures for
MANAGER DIAZ the operation of the Skate Park as relates to the recent change in
hours of operation.
VICE CHAIR FRAIJO In response to an additional question by Vice Chair Fraijo,
Recreation Manager Grijalva advised that the Fire Marshall has
inspected the area to be used for the 4`h of July/50th Anniversary
Fiesta fireworks show.
ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to conduct, the meeting was
